We all know that winter is the worst! Whether your skin is becoming inflamed, chapped, or dry, remember you are not alone! The snow, the cold, the wind, whatever may be the cause, you don't have to settle for winter skin.
1. Hydration is the key to success! I personally advocate how important hydration is, not only for your health, but also for your body! The health benefits of drinking water are obvious, but what you may not know? Drinking water keeps the appearance of your skin looking young and fresh!
2. Moisturize! You may find yourself lathering up a lot more in the fall/winter than you do in the spring/summer, and it's totally normal. We encourage you to change your skincare routine in the winter months because your skin needs more moisture. Find a thicker moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and protected. Constantly keep your entire body nourished to prevent uncomfortable dryness and cracking.
3. Buy a humidifier! Throughout the winter many places are warmed with dry heat which dries out your skin. By using a humidifier, you can adjust the water level in your environment. When moisture is added back into the air, your skin will retain moisture. Keep at least one in your house to ensure your beautiful skin stays beautiful throughout the entire winter.
